U13 & U15 Youth Program Season 2025/2026

MISSION: Putting individual player development and progression at the center, helping our players fulfill their ambitions, both athletically and academically, while challenging them to perform at levels where they can compete internationally allowing them to gain access to higher education or professional football at levels beyond their current reach.

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION - LEARNING TO COMPETE

This period in the player's development is focused on excellence in the technical and ball mastery areas while introducing all the other tools like strength, physicality, positional awareness, mental strength, to learn how to compete on a full size pitch with 10 team mates and 11 opponents.

To continue our quest to perfect and align our programs with our basic principals, the 2025/26 U13 and U15 weekly sessions will comprise of:

  • 2 SKILLS and STRENGTH AND CONDITIONING focused development sessions on Tuesday or Wednesday, 
  • 2 TEAM and GAME DAY focused session on Thursday and Friday, some of them classroom sessions, leading up to the matches on Saturday.

The In-Season Program will run during the first two school terms, from early September to end of March.

The Post-Season Program will run the last school term from early April to end of June.

Each player must register for the In-Season Program. The Post-Season Program is optional, however if the player aspires to progress within our U13 and U15 programs, Post-Season is a necessity.

DATES FOR SEASON 2024/25

The 2025/26 season will kick off on September 2, 2025.

 

Fall Term – Tuesday September 2, 2025  to December 20, 2025 with modified programs during the mid-term break.

Winter Term  - Monday January 5, 2026 to March 21, 2026, with modified programs during the mid-term break.

Spring Term  -  Monday April 6, 2026 to Friday June 26, 2026.

There is no training on Public Holidays.

What we need from our players:

  • Preparedness to improve and a desire to learn
  • Commitment and the ability to follow instructions
  • Passion for the game
  • Respect for the game, coaches and the other players

What we need from our parents:

  • Respect for the programme
  • Use the correct protocols to address issues
  • Do not get involved in team selections or technical player sessions
  • Stay off the field during training sessions
  • Wait to speak to coaches (do not approach a coach directly after the games)
  • Ensure players are at training and games on time
  • Communicate when players are unable to make games and training by using the Sports Engine app
